Joao C Ferreira is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL with over 250 publications in computer science. He holds a BSc in Physics from UTL/IST, MSc in Telecommunications, PhD in Computer Engineering (UTL/IST, 2006), and a second PhD in Industrial Engineering (University of Minho, 2013). His research spans data science, IoT, AI, blockchain, and their applications in healthcare, energy, and transportation.
