Joanna Rucklidge is a part-time Senior Lecturer in Visual Communication at Sheffield Hallam University, affiliated with the Art Design and Media Research Centre and Culture and Creativity Research Institute. She teaches on BA Illustration and Graphic Design programs. With over 20 years in art & design education, her work bridges pedagogy and environmental advocacy, focusing on waste materials, consumer habits, and sustainable practices. Her art employs prints, sculpture, and installations using reclaimed materials to critique ecological issues.
