Assoc. Prof. Joanna Plit is a retired academic affiliated with the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her career spans over four decades, including roles at the Archive of the Capital City of Warsaw, Institute of Botany Polish Academy of Sciences (1973–1981), and her primary affiliation from 1982 onward.
