Prof. Joachim Wagner is a Professor at the Institute of Economics (IVWL) at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. He specializes in Applied Microeconomics, Empirical Economics, and Economic Policy, with a focus on Microeconometrics and policy evaluation. His research interests include Behavioral Economics and Societal Transformation, as well as Law and Economics.
He is part of the Research Cluster Behavioral Economics and Societal Transformation and contributes to the PhD Program Behavioral Economics and Societal Transformation. His team includes Miguel Abellàn, Jonas Dix, Luise Görges, Nissen Gleuwitz, Boris Hirsch, Mats Kahl, Janina Kraus, Mario Mechtel, Christian Pfeifer, Florian Unger, and Thomas Wein.
Prof. Wagner is involved in teaching and supervises bachelor theses through the LIB-LAB initiative. His professional activities include organizing workshops such as the Lüneburg Workshop in Economics and the Law and Economics Workshop: Experiments for the Environment.
