Jiunn-Rong Yeh

Professor Jiunn-Rong Yeh is a Full-Time Professor at the College of Law, National Taiwan University (2016-), where he directs the Policy and Law Center for Environmental Sustainability (2009-). He has held visiting and fellowship roles at Melbourne Law School (2014-), Harvard Law School (2004), and University of Toronto (2000-2001). His career spans academia and public service, including Minister of the Interior (2016-2018) and Minister of Education (2018).

His research integrates Environmental Law & Policy, Constitutional Law, and Administrative Law, emphasizing policy science approaches. He has contributed to major legislative bills in Taiwan, including the Freedom of Information Act and Greenhouse Gas Control Act, and authored/co-edited works like The Constitution of Taiwan: A Contextual Analysis (Hart, 2016) and Asian Courts in Context (Cambridge, 2015).

Recent publications analyze climate change liability, constitutional transformations in East Asia, and judicial review mechanisms. His work bridges transnational constitutionalism, environmental governance, and institutional neutrality debates.
