Dr. Jing Yong Ye is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. With 14 patents to his name, he develops innovative technologies for biomedical imaging and sensing applications. He is currently seeking MS and PhD students to join his research program.
His research focuses on biophotonics, nanobiotechnology, cancer detection, endotoxin sensing, and drug delivery systems. Current NIH-funded projects include prostate cancer detection techniques and cardiotoxicity screening using heart-on-a-chip technology.
