Jin Feng

Jin Feng is a Professor of Chinese and Japanese and the Orville and Mary Patterson Routt Professor of Literature at Grinnell College. She specializes in Chinese language pedagogy, literature, and cultural studies.

• Teaches courses: 'Chinese Women: Past and Present,' 'Modern China through Film and Fiction,' 'Chinese Food for Thought'

Research Focus: Explores intersections of Chinese cultural history, digital media, and food studies. Currently investigating the institutionalization of creative writing in China and transpacific academic exchanges.

Publications: Authored five English monographs and three Chinese books on topics ranging from web romance to Jiangnan foodways and gender representation in modern Chinese fiction.
