Jimmy Lin

Jimmy Lin is a Professor and David R. Cheriton Chair at the University of Waterloo's David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science. His research focuses on information retrieval, natural language processing, and data management, with applications in large-scale data analysis and AI systems. Previously at the University of Maryland, he earned his PhD from MIT in 2004.
