Jimmy Ba is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto and a CIFAR AI Chair. His research develops efficient learning algorithms for deep neural networks, with applications in reinforcement learning and AI. He completed his PhD under Geoffrey Hinton and holds multiple fellowships including the Facebook Graduate Fellowship.
