Jim Rivers is an Associate Professor of Wildlife Ecology at Oregon State University's College of Forestry, affiliated with the Department of Forest Engineering, Resources & Management. He leads the Forest Animal Ecology Lab and serves as a Graduate Major Advisor. His work focuses on conservation biology, disturbance ecology, and wildlife ecology in forested ecosystems.
