Jim Graves

Dr. Jim Graves, a distinguished vocal artist and educator, is the Director of Choral Activities at Southern Nazarene University's School of Music. He oversees ensembles such as the University Singers, SNU Chorale, and Concert Choir, while teaching courses in music theory, music education, and voice.

Graves has performed at national conventions like the National ACDA and Jazz Education Network, and previously served as Southwest ACDA Jazz R & S Chair. His arrangements have been showcased by ensembles nationwide, including the University of North Texas Jazz Singers and Oklahoma Singing Sooners.

He enjoys backpacking in Idaho, cooking with a smoker, and is a proud parent to Sarah, Lane, and Isabelle.
