Jim Davis

Jim Davis is a Senior Lecturer at the Wolverhampton School of Art within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences at the University of Wolverhampton. His work bridges academic and creative domains, focusing on user experience design and technology-supported learning.

• Education: PhD in Learning Technology (award-winning), MA in Computing in Design, BA (Hons) in Audio Visual Design

Research interests center on user experience in digital domains, particularly through practice-as-research methodology. His projects examine audience engagement in street performance, digital media, and the intersection of situation awareness and reflective practice. Recent publications span both academic and artistic outputs, including performances under the stage name Ginger Geoffrey and music video productions in the UK, USA, Germany, and Japan.
