Jill Weiss

Jill Weiss serves as a Teaching Professor at Florida International University's Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences, where she has been a full-time faculty member since 1999 after initially joining as an adjunct instructor in 1989.

Professor Weiss specializes in translating 35+ years of industry experience into practical computing education, with expertise spanning hardware/software installation, system repair, troubleshooting, and technical training program management. Her primary focus involves delivering foundational service courses and leading the World's Ahead instruction initiative, which has educated over 25,000 FIU students since 2000 through hands-on computing skill development.
