Jill Simons

Dr. Jill Simons serves as the Associate Dean and Interim Chair of the Department of Communication Education at Arkansas State University's College of Liberal Arts and Communication. She holds an EdD in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, an MS in Human Development from the University of Rhode Island, and a BA in Studio Art from the University of Arkansas.

Her professional focus integrates academic leadership with interdisciplinary research in education. Combining her background in studio art and human development, her work explores innovative pedagogical strategies in communication education, particularly within community college contexts.
