Jill Reid is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Marketing and Program Coordinator at the Vancouver Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU). She holds positions in the Department of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship within the Silberman College of Business. Her academic journey includes a BA (Honors) from the University of Salford (UK), an MBA from Aston University (UK), and a PhD from Carleton University (Canada).
Dr. Reid's research focuses on branding strategies, international marketing communications, and the impact of globalization on consumer behavior. She explores Product-Country-Image (PCI) dynamics and cross-cultural branding in digital contexts. Her work bridges academic theory with industry practice, drawing on her extensive corporate experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors with companies like Bayer AG, Gillette, and Arc International.
In teaching, she instructs courses such as Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and International Marketing. Beyond academia, she advises FDU’s Study Abroad program, coaches student business competitions, and oversees annual research projects for the Consulate General of Brazil. She actively engages with professional networks, including the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Women’s Leadership Circle.
