Jill Kardously is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at California State University Long Beach (CSULB). She has been a full-time faculty member since 2021, with 27 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, primarily serving vulnerable populations. She co-founded the first primary care clinic within Mercy House Shelter in Orange County, CA, addressing healthcare gaps for unhoused individuals. Additionally, she has extensive teaching experience in prelicensure and graduate nursing programs, including a four-year tenure as Associate Dean/Director of Nursing Academics at a private university.
