Jill James

Jill James is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication at The University of Texas at Arlington since August 2019. She specializes in teaching Professional and Technical Communication for Science and Engineering majors, as well as courses in Business Communication, Public Speaking, and Intercultural Communication. Her career includes adjunct and full-time teaching roles at institutions such as Tarrant County College, Miramar College, and Palomar College.

Education: She holds a Master of Arts (2010) and Bachelor of Arts (2008) in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas.

Service and Leadership: She currently serves as a Consultant for the Debate Club (2024–Present), Committee Member for the Recruitment Committee (2023–Present), and has supported events like Communication Day (2023–2024). She also contributed to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Reporting through Special Institutional Assignments (2023–2024).
