Jill Clingan

Jill Clingan is a Composition and Literature Department Chair at Mizzou Academy’s CoTeach program, leading a team of five instructional specialists and supporting high school students pursuing dual diplomas. She has presented at international educational conferences and authored/co-authored language arts courses, an interactive grammar resource, and the book series Teaching Women’s and Gender Studies: Classroom Resources on Resistance, Representation, and Radical Hope with Dr. Kathryn Fishman-Weaver.

Her research focuses on English language arts instruction, curriculum design, and pedagogical strategies for online and international education. She emphasizes relationship-building to foster student success in digital environments.

Ms. Clingan collaborates with classroom teachers globally, having worked with schools in southeast Brazil. She resides in Peculiar, Missouri, with her family, chickens, and turkeys, balancing her academic work with personal interests.
