Jill Castek

Jill Castek is a Professor of Literacy, Technology & Bi/multilingual Learners & STEM Education at the University of Arizona's College of Information Science. She also holds a Professorship in the Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in Second Language Acquisition & Teaching. Her affiliations include the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Center for East Asian Studies, and Center for Latin American Studies.

Her research focuses on digital literacies, multilingual education, STEM education, and critical perspectives on education equity. She investigates how digital technologies mediate learning, particularly for multilingual learners and adult working learners.
