Jihee Yoon

Jihee Yoon is a Lecturer in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Denver. Her work centers BIPOC youth and community through Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR), integrating Black Feminist Theory, Asian Critical Theory, and Aesthetics practices.

Her publications explore themes such as borderlands theory, equity in education, and counter-storytelling methodologies. Yoon teaches courses including Introduction to Ethnic Studies, Culture & Racism, and Asian American Pacific Islander Food and Identity.
