Jide Wintoki

Jide Wintoki is the Dean of the School and Henry D. Price Professor of Business at the University of Kansas School of Business. Previously, he served as Associate Dean of Graduate Programs (2020-2025) and Area Director of Analytics, Information, and Operations (2019-2022). He has been a faculty member at KU since 2008, teaching in the Finance department where he focuses on Corporate Financial Policy, Business Investment, and International Finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Professor Wintoki's research focuses on corporate finance, international finance, corporate governance, and business analytics. His work examines insider trading patterns, board structures, foreign investment, and the relationship between innovation and housing markets. He has published in top-tier journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Journal of Banking & Finance.

His publication record shows a consistent focus on corporate governance mechanisms, with recent work expanding into political bias in investment portfolios, tax havens, and the relationship between innovation and real estate markets. The research demonstrates strong methodological rigor with applications in both US and international contexts.
