Dr. Jiang Ming is Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Tulane University, specializing in software and systems security. His research focuses on binary code analysis, malware unpacking, and hardware-assisted security for embedded systems and mobile platforms.
He has developed novel techniques including static binary debloating for MIPS systems, hardware-assisted malware unpacking via loop profiling, and obfuscation-resilient payload extraction. His work received ACM SIGPLAN Distinguished Paper and IEEE Top Picks honors.
Dr. Ming teaches information security and software security courses. He leads research on automotive system security through container architectures and memory protection techniques, with funding from Google and Cisco.
