**Jiake Xu** is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Western Australia (UWA). He holds additional roles including former Head of the Molecular Laboratory (2011–2023) and Head of the Division of Regenerative Medicine (2017–2021). His expertise spans osteoclast biology, bone marrow stem cells, and musculoskeletal diseases. Dr. Xu completed his medical training at Guangzhou Medical College (1985), earned a PhD from UWA (1994), and conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University (1994–1998).
