Jewel M. Kling, MD, MPH is Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Division of Women's Health Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Arizona, where she also serves as Assistant Director of the Women's Health Center and Dean of the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. Her pioneering work focuses on menopause, female sexual health, and LGBTQ health, with significant contributions to sex- and gender-specific medicine education.
Dr. Kling's research examines critical aspects of women's health including menopause symptom management, hormonal influences on cognition, and health disparities in underserved populations. She co-leads Mayo Clinic's Data Registry on Experiences of Aging, Menopause and Sexuality (DREAMS) and Hormones and ExpeRiences of Aging (HERA) registry, enabling large-scale studies on menopausal health.
