Jethro Shell

Dr. Jethro Shell is a Senior Lecturer and researcher in Games and Information Systems at De Montfort University's School of Computer Science and Informatics. He is affiliated with the Centre for Computational Intelligence (CCI) and DMU:GAMER, focusing on computational intelligence applications in gaming, healthcare, and human-computer interaction (HCI).

• Education: MSc (part-time) and PhD in Information Technology at De Montfort University

Research Interests: Integrating advanced computational methods like fuzzy logic and transfer learning into gaming, healthcare, and HCI. His work addresses challenges in sparse data environments using frameworks combining fuzzy logic with transductive transfer learning.

Projects: Principal Investigator for Horizon2020's 3D-TuneIn (hearing aids and social inclusion) and DMU's INNATE (nocturnal seizure detection).
