Jessica Yingst

Jessica Yingst is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine. She serves as Director of the Penn State Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Program and is affiliated with the Penn State Cancer Institute’s Cancer Control division and the Penn State Center for Research on Tobacco and Health. Her research focuses on reducing tobacco-related harms, particularly through behavioral and health services interventions.

Research Interests: Dr. Yingst investigates methods to reduce tobacco-related harm, including e-cigarette usage patterns, smoking cessation strategies, and the intersection of mental health and substance use. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
