Dr. Jessica W. England is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Wagner College. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida, an M.S. from Loyola University Maryland, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on contextual factors influencing academics, vocation, and well-being, with a particular emphasis on marginalization, economic constraints, and multiculturalism. She mentors undergraduate students using feminist philosophy, emphasizing supportive yet challenging environments tailored to developmental stages.
Her work centers on the Psychology of Working Theory, exploring decent work, workplace climate, and the intersection of work with identity and social justice.
