Jessica Sullivan is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Skidmore College. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. from Wesleyan University. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Statistics and Research Methods, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Development, and Cross-Cultural Development.
Dr. Sullivan's research explores fundamental questions in cognitive development including: how children acquire complex knowledge from limited evidence; the relationship between linguistic representations and other cognitive systems; and the application of developmental psychology to education, parenting, and policy.
