Jessica S. Watson

Jessica S. Watson is an Assistant Professor at DeSales University's College of Healthcare Professions. She is a licensed physical therapist with diverse clinical experience in acute and acute care rehabilitation settings, currently practicing at St. Luke’s Health Network. Her roles include teaching core courses such as Foundations of Patient Care, Differential Diagnosis and Intervention: Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy, and Promoting Health and Wellness, as well as supervising the DeSales Community Wellness and Physical Clinic.

Dr. Watson’s research focuses on community-based health initiatives, particularly high-intensity exercise interventions for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Her clinical work emphasizes geriatric care in acute rehabilitation settings.

She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), active in its Acute Care and Geriatrics sections, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Northeast District of APTA PA.
