Jessica Rubin is an Associate Dean of Experiential Education and the J. Agnes Burns Professor at UConn Law School. She holds a JD from Cornell Law School and a BS from Cornell University.
Research Interests: Professor Rubin specializes in
- Animal Law and Advocacy
- Transactional Lawyering
- Practical Legal Skills Instruction
Teaching & Advocacy: She supervises students in animal cruelty cases through UConn’s Animal Law Clinic and trains students in national/international negotiation competitions. She also teaches U.S. common law analysis for international LLM students and has conducted teaching and animal rescue work in Istanbul and Seoul.
