Jessica Moore

Jessica Moore is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Harding University, where she has taught since 1998. She holds a Doctor of Arts in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University (1993), a Master of Education from Harding University (1981), and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Harding University (1980). Her expertise spans pedagogy, adapted physical education, and K-12 sports skills instruction.

Research interests include multicultural approaches to physical education, inclusive teaching strategies, and curriculum development. Recent presentations focus on integrating global folk dances and accessibility innovations in sports education. She has held leadership roles in state and regional associations, including vice-presidencies in Arkansas and New Mexico health/physical education groups.

Award highlights include Specialty Faculty Status at the University of Arkansas (2008) and leadership in adaptive sports advocacy. Moore advises student teaching interns and maintains active involvement in curriculum design across K-12 and university levels.
