Jessica Miller

Jessica Miller is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner at Anglia Ruskin University's School of Allied Health and Social Care within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care. As an HCPC registered Physiotherapist, she lectures on the MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) postgraduate course while maintaining active clinical practice in specialized physiotherapy fields.

Research Interests

Her research centers on back pain management, tendinopathies treatment, and hydrotherapy applications for children with life-limiting conditions. She integrates clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and palliative care physiotherapy to develop evidence-based interventions, with particular focus on pediatric adaptations of therapeutic modalities.

Professional Practice

Jessica serves as a Specialist Palliative Care Physiotherapist at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in private practice. Her dual academic-clinical role enables direct translation of research into practice while mentoring future physiotherapists through the MSc program.
