Jessica Guichard

Jessica Guichard is an ORE Integration Researcher at the University of Plymouth's School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics. Her research focuses on renewable energy systems integration, particularly hybrid solutions for coastal defense and wave energy conversion. She investigates hydrogen production from offshore wind, reversible solid oxide cell optimization, and hydrodynamic performance of floating platforms.

Current projects examine techno-economic models for combining wind farms with hydrogen storage and wave energy extraction from floating structures. Her articles demonstrate expertise in PyPSA modeling, hydrodynamic testing, and energy system optimization for decarbonization.
