Jessica Gugino

Dr. Jessica Gugino is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she has taught since 2008. A former special-education teacher with ten years of classroom experience in grades 2–9, she brings practitioner insight to her university courses.

• High-leverage practices in inclusive classroom settings
• Field-based teacher preparation and evidence-based instructional strategies

Her scholarly agenda centers on translating research into classroom practice, investigating how teacher-candidate field experiences affect K–12 learners, and refining assessment tools for special-education contexts.
