Jessica Gorman

Jessica Gorman is an Associate Professor at Oregon State University's College of Health, School of Nutrition and Public Health. She specializes in behavioral science with focus on cancer survivorship, reproductive health, sexual health, and LGBTQ+ health equity for young adults.

Her research develops multi-level interventions to address reproductive and sexual health disparities among cancer survivors, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals and young adults. Current work includes mindfulness-based sexual health programs and gender-affirming survey adaptations.

Recent publications show strong emphasis on dyadic communication (2020-2025), virtual interventions (2022-2024), and health equity for transgender survivors (2024). Her $900K NCI grant (2024) develops a virtual mindfulness-based sexual health program for breast and gynecologic cancer survivors.
