Jessica Fultz

Jessica Fultz is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Idaho State University (ISU). She specializes in laboratory education, entomology, and pollinator ecology. Fultz holds an M.S. in Entomology and B.S. in Biological Sciences from Montana State University. She has conducted field research on insect-plant interactions in subalpine forests and contributed to pesticide safety education programs.

Her professional roles include designing laboratory curricula for BIOL 1101L/1102L/2227L, training teaching assistants, and maintaining the BIOLAB website since 2008. She transitioned to ISU in 2007 while continuing remote work for Montana State University’s Extension Service.

Fultz’s scholarly work focuses on pollinator ecology and forest entomology, with publications in journals like Coleopterist's Bulletin and Journal of the Kansas Entomological Society. She has authored multiple laboratory manuals for ISU and co-developed pesticide safety guides.
