Jessica Erin Ray

Jessica Erin Ray is an Instructional Associate Professor of History at Texas A&M University, joining in 2020. She explores intersections of US cultural history, popular culture, and dance through embodied practices, linking tradition to social change. In 2023, she became Associate Director at the Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research, overseeing undergraduate initiatives, and serves as an artistic advisor to Houston-based Social Movement Contemporary Dance Theater.
