Jessica Cohen

Jessica Cohen is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Sociology at Drexel University, holding a Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University. She teaches introductory sociology, social problems, and sociology of the family courses, emphasizing the practical relevance of sociology in everyday life.

Her research examines demographic shifts in U.S. family structures, including cohabitation, marriage, divorce, and adolescent childbearing. She employs quantitative methods to analyze relationship transitions and their societal implications, aiming to inform effective family policies.
