Jessica Abbott

Jessica Abbott is Professor and Head of the Department of Biology at Lund University. Her research examines evolutionary genetics, focusing on sexual antagonism and sex chromosome evolution using Drosophila melanogaster and Macrostomum lignano model systems. She leads multiple projects including experimental evolution studies and genomic investigations of sex determination systems.
