Jesse Robinson

Jesse Robinson is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Acting at Shenandoah University's Conservatory, joining the faculty in Fall 2023. He holds a B.A. in Media Production and Criticism with an acting minor from George Mason University, where he received multiple honors including Broadcaster of the Year (2014) and later Alumni Spotlight recognition (2021). His professional background encompasses screen acting, comedy performance, and television production.

Research interests center on performance techniques, comedic theory, and digital media production. As a SAG-AFTRA actor, his screen credits include principal roles for Netflix, ABC/ESPN, Apple TV+, CBS, and Discovery+, with commercial work for brands like Geico and Buffalo Wild Wings. He founded and operates a Virginia-based TV/film production company.

Awards include the 2017 Comedian of the Year from Laugh Index Theatre. His stand-up comedy has featured alongside notable comedians at venues including The Comedy Store and HaHa Club in Los Angeles.
