Jesse Carlson

Jesse Carlson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Acadia University. His research focuses on sociological theory, cultural sociology, morality, and friendship dynamics. He teaches undergraduate courses including Technology and Society and Thinking Through Society, along with graduate seminars in sociological theory.

Carlson's current research project examines Everyday Life during a Pandemic, exploring social adaptations and behavioral changes in response to global health crises. His sociological framework integrates cultural analysis with theoretical examinations of social structures.
