Jess Williams is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences, King's College London. Her work focuses on designing and evaluating digital interventions for mental health, particularly targeting self-harm, emotion regulation, and LGBTQ+ populations. She employs co-design methodology, randomized control trials, and qualitative interviewing in her research.
Her research has been published in journals such as BMJ Open, Journal of Affective Disorders, and PLoS One, emphasizing emotion regulation, socially assistive robotics, and digital mental health tools. She received the PSYPAG Rising Researcher award in 2021.
