Jess Marshall serves as an Associate Tutor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Research Associate in the School of Health Sciences at the University of East Anglia, where she is also a member of the Public Health group.
Her research focuses on critical areas including:

- Social Prescribing Interventions
- Caregiver Support Mechanisms
- People Living with Dementia (PLWD) Services
Recent publications (2024-2025) demonstrate her expertise in systematic reviews and realist evaluations of social prescribing for dementia care in UK contexts, analyzing intervention effectiveness across diverse populations and settings.
She co-investigated four completed projects (2022-2024) evaluating the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Adopting Innovation Hub, and actively contributes to the SPLENDID Collaboration focused on dementia-related social prescribing frameworks.
