Professor Jesper Gulddal, a comparatist and literary historian at the University of Newcastle since 2010, specializes in cultural mobility studies with emphasis on intercultural perceptions, travel literature, and global literary circulation. His research extends to world crime fiction studies, supported by an ARC Discovery Project grant (2025-2027) with Monash University collaborators.
