Jerrold Scott is a Professor in the Department of Theater at Case Western Reserve University. He joined CWRU in 2000 as an assistant professor after serving as a visiting artist, held the Climo Junior Professorship (2004-2006), earned tenure as associate professor, and was promoted to full professor in 2013. He served as department chair from 2015 to 2023 and holds the Katharine Bakeless Nason Professorship in Theater and Drama.

Research & Expertise
Scott’s work bridges classical and contemporary performance, focusing on Shakespearean acting pedagogy, voice and speech training, and dialect coaching. He has presented at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) and published in The Voice and Speech Review.
