Jerrilynn Dodds

Jerrilynn Dodds is a Professor of Art History at Sarah Lawrence College, where she has been affiliated since 2009. She served as Dean of the College from 2009 to 2015.

Her research explores transculturation in the arts, focusing on how religious groups (Christians, Jews, and Muslims) form identities through art and architecture, particularly in medieval Spain and the Mediterranean. She has curated major exhibitions, including Al Andalus: The Arts of Islamic Spain at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Alhambra in Granada.
