Jerome Haferd is an Assistant Professor at City College's Spitzer School of Architecture and principal of JEROME HAFERD Studio. His practice focuses on architecture, public art, and research at the intersection of preservation and marginalized histories. He co-directs the Place, Memory, and Culture Incubator and serves on the Board of The Architectural League of New York.
Research interests include urban design, cultural infrastructure, and radical preservation approaches. Notable collaborations include projects with the Harlem African Burial Ground, Park Avenue Armory, and National Black Theatre.
