Jeremy Rogers

Jeremy Rogers is an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His lab develops advanced optical instrumentation and imaging techniques for biomedical applications, including disease screening, early detection, and therapeutic monitoring. He is also associated with the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR), Biophysics, Medical Physics, and the McPherson Eye Research Institute.

• Research Interests: Biomedical optics, biophotonics, polarization imaging, optical coherence tomography (OCT), enhanced backscattering spectroscopy, and optical metrology for tissue analysis.
• Technical Expertise: Adaptive optics, Monte Carlo simulations for light transport, fiber optic probe design, and interferometry/holography.
• Applications: Retinal cell imaging, cancer screening via field carcinogenesis detection, age-related macular degeneration studies, and metabolic activity quantification in retinal stem cells.
