Jeremy R. Brooks

Jeremy R. Brooks (born 1979) is an Associate Professor in Ceramics and 3D within the College of Humanities at Coastal Carolina University (2018–present). His work explores conceptual art, subversive craft, and intersections of ceramics and fibers.

• Education: MFA in Ceramic Art, Alfred University (2007); BFA in Art and Design, Grand Valley State University (2001)

Brooks balances his academic role with a prolific artistic career, having exhibited in over 100 shows since 2001. His practice is marked by a droll ceramophile aesthetic and decalcomania techniques.
