Jeremy Plunkett is a Painting & Drawing Lecturer and First Year Program Lecturer at the Department of Art & Design, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He holds an MFA in Painting from Ohio University (2008) and a BFA in Printmaking & Drawing from Bowling Green State University (2005).
His artistic practice focuses on photo-realist imagery exploring cast light, environmental themes, interiors, and the ephemeral. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Charles Allis Museum of Art (Milwaukee), the International Mezzotint Festival (Ekaterinburg, Russia), and the Edward Hopper House Art Center (NY). He has also presented artistic demonstrations at venues such as Tiger Lily Press (Cincinnati) and Montana State University (Bozeman).
Jeremy received the 2013 Manifest Artist Residency and currently resides in Milwaukee. His professional website is jeremyplunkett.com.
